The specification relates to an apparatus for panoramic X-ray photography of the area of the dentition and the jaws, the apparatus comprising a frame part (1 ), a bearing part (2) linearly movable in relation to the frame part, and a support arm (10) attached with bearings rotatably to the bearing part, the arm having at one end an X-ray film (11) and at the opposite end a source of X-radiation (12). The movements of the bearing part (2), the support arm (10) and the film (11) are mutually synchronized in such a way that an image of an area of the desired shape, for example the shape of the patient's dental arch, is obtained on the film during the movement. It is the object of the invention to provide a possibility, without shifting the patient, to alter the enlargement coefficient and, as an additional effect, to provide the possibility of tilting the X-ray beam to the desired angle in relation to the horizontal plane, whereby it will be possible to photograph more sharply than previously, for example, teeth oblique in relation to the vertical level. In accordance with the invention, the support arm (10) is attached to the bearing part (2) by mediation of structural parts (9, 16) which are equipped with guides (22, 24) extending in the longitudinal direction of the support arm (10) and with transfer means (19, 20, 21), in such a way that the support arm (10), in other words the source of radiation (12) and the X-ray film (11), can be transferred in a direction parallel to the X-ray beam. Furthermore, the said structural parts (9, 16) have curved rails (13, 14) which work in conjunction with each other, the mutual movement of the rails affecting the tilt of the support arm. The adjustment movements are preferably effected by stepping motors.

The device for radiography of the chyustnoy and dental area contains a staionary frame 1 mounted on a stand with a stand. In order to obtain a clear image of the dental arch, the axis of rotation of the support bracket 13 together with the carrying unit 2 during the exposure of the X-ray film 14 is moved linearly and parallel to the axis of symmetry of the dental arch. In this case, the movements of the carrier unit 2, the support bracket 13 and the film 14 are synchronized in such a way that a clear image of the desired area is obtained on the film.
If it is necessary to change the image scale, the support bracket 13 with the radiation source 15 and the X-ray film 14 is moved in a direction parallel to the x-ray plane by means of the engine 12, while moving the box-shaped unit 11 relative to the plate-shaped element 9.
To obtain a clear image of the teeth deviating from the vertical plane, the support bracket 13 is inclined by moving it along the guide rollers 16, 17 by means of the engine 19. It is possible to limit the area of X-ray propagation in the vertical direction so as to obtain an image upper or lower teeth.
With programmed control of stepper motors, several mutually synchronized adjustments can be made continuously during the exposure.

1. A device for radiography of the maxillary and dental area, comprising a stationary frame, a carrier unit, placed on a stationary frame that can be moved relative to it, and a support bracket, which is rotatably connected with bearings to a single node and one end of the x-ray source, and at the other end - a movable x-ray film, characterized in that, in order to simplify the selection of the image scale without displacing the patient, the support bracket is connected to the carrier unit by means of a koroboobraznoe node, having o longitudinal guides, and a plate-like element fitted with the ability to move along the guides with the help of an engine
bonded to the plate-like element and connected with the help of a re-longitudinal shaft with the inner side of the box-shaped assembly.
